Adam C. Weiss has dedicated his career to representing injured plaintiffs and working diligently to bring his clients the justice they deserve. Adam strives to uncover the answers to what really happened and recover maximal monetary compensation for his clients. He takes great pride in keeping his clients informed and educated throughout the entire litigation process.
Adam litigates all types of personal injury and medical malpractice cases, from car crashes and construction accidents to wrongful death cases. He draws on a unique background of experience, which includes litigating hundreds of birth injury cases resulting from OB/GYN and neonatal malpractice and representing thousands of clients with injuries from pharmaceutical and medical devices.
In his young career Adam has already worked to obtain numerous notable settlements for his clients, including a $5,500,000 recovery for a young girl with cerebral palsy who suffered hypoxic-ischemic insult due to her pediatrician’s failure to timely diagnose and treat RSV bronchiolitis; a $5,120,000 settlement for a young boy born extremely prematurely who suffered permanent blindness due to the failure of his ophthalmologist in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to timely diagnose and treat retinopathy of prematurity; and a $4,590,000 settlement for a 10-year-old girl who suffered severe neurological injuries due to the obstetrician’s delay in performing a cesarean section after her mother’s complaints of decreased fetal movements coupled with non-reassuring fetal heart monitor tracings.
In the fall of 2023, Adam was appointed as the President of the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization, CLUSTER Community Services. CLUSTER provides services and programs that assist residents in Yonkers and throughout the counties of Westchester and Rockland to build a better future for themselves and their communities. All CLUSTER programs focus on the empowerment of individuals, families and communities to fulfill their dreams and potential and Adam is thrilled to be a part of their important mission. Adam has served on the CLUSTER Board of Directors since 2021.
In 2019, Adam was recognized at the Westfair Communications Millennial Awards for his passion, entrepreneurial spirit, and impact on Westchester and Fairfield counties.
Adam received his Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law graduating Magna Cum Laude and received his undergraduate degree from Skidmore College. During law school, Adam worked for the Honorable Deborah Batts in the Southern District of New York and with the United States Department of Justice. Additionally, Adam served as the Productions Editor on the Pace Environmental Law Review and published two law review articles. Adam was also the recipient of the Pro Bono Justice Award for Service (Extraordinary Service) at Pace Law School.
Adam is a member of several bar associations, including the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Justice Brandeis Law Society. Adam was also recognized by Hudson Valley Magazine as a top lawyer in 2021, and was recognized by National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyer in New York in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
When not in the office, Adam enjoys traveling, hiking, and exploring with his wife, two daughters, and their dog Strudel. You may also find him cheering on his Knicks, Yankees, Giants, and Rangers.
